ITV launches iOS catch-up app

ITV has launched an iOS version of its ITV Player app, available in the iTunes Store from today. The free app is compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and gives you access to the last week's worth of programmes from ITV1, ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4. That means on-the-go access to such gems as Loose Women, Daybreak and The Jeremy Kyle Show – such a shame The Bill was cancelled before this halcyon time. Video playback using the app is via Wi-Fi only, so no 3G streaming to eat into your data

Review: Gigabyte GV-56OC-1GI

Discrete graphics processor manufactures AMD and Nvidia are past masters at prising graphic cards into market segments that you or I would think are pretty well packed already – or didn't even realise existed in the first place. TDL-4 is thought to have infected 4.5 million PC's, 5% of which are in the UK.

HP: Enterprise, not iPad, our TouchPad target

HP has dismissed criticisms of its TouchPad tablet – which SlashGear reviewed earlier this week – suggesting that incoming webOS updates will smooth out any rough edges and that, rather than taking on the iPad 2 in the consumer market, the company’s main target is business users. “We think there’s a better opportunity for us to go after the enterprise space and those consumers that use PCs” HP VP of worldwide developer relations Richard Kerris told The Loop,
