Samsung Nexus Prime to be first Ice Cream Sandwich phone?

Samsung looks to be crafting the next official Google Phone, which could launch as the Google Nexus Prime complete with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a 720p HD resolution display. According to BGR‘s sources, the Samsung uberphone will do away with physical buttons and instead use a 1280 x 720 “Super AMOLED HD” display.

HTC: No 3D TV? Then you won't want a 3D phone

With the HTC Evo 3D UK release date falling in July or August – just a month or so after the HTC Sensation hit our shelves – you'd be forgiven for thinking that HTC could be doing itself out of some high-end sales. But that's not how HTC sees it, arguing that, although spec-wise the Sensation and Evo 3D are very similar beasts, what they offer is quite different. Graham Wheeler, director of commercialization and product management at HTC, explained at a press briefing that TechRadar

Researchers at Tokyo University worked with Sony to create a new and weird contraption that allows them to hack your body and take control of your hand. I could see this tech leading to some impressively control prosthetics with a few tweaks

Hands on: HTC Evo 3D review

Once a passing gimmick, 3D seems to be here to stay. HTC is heralding the move from the cinema screen to the handheld with the launch of the HTC Evo 3D, sacrificing svelte light-footedness for a dual-camera wielding chunk of a handset. HTC's first 3D phone is also its first Evo-branded handset to reach the UK's fair shores; we got up close and personal to see if the extra dimension is worth all the fuss. It's certainly not the lightest smartphone on the block; all that extra heft required for

Neato XV-15 Robot Vacuum Review

Lay down your Dyson, unplug your Hoover and send Henry to the knackers’ yard. Fresh from showing how much it sucks in the US, Neato‘s XV-15 robotic vacuum cleaner is on its way to Europe to assassinate dust bunnies there, too. Meaner looking than a Roomba, according to Neato the XV-15 is cleverer than its rivals too, fighting dirt not only with suction but with lasers. Check out the full SlashGear review after the cut.
